Fraud & Consumer Complaints

Good Morning!
Fighting scams, questionable business practices, & other forms of fraud can be won! The most important thing you should do is record everything that takes place. This includes time, dates, people involved etc. Keep all receipts!

Your most important asset in many cases may be your city Attorney's Office. Unfortunately since there are so many forms of fraud I can't include it all here but if you would like something added please let me know!

"Notify your City Commonwealth Attorney's Office of any fraud or consumer complaint you may have even if you have already filed a complaint with another state/ government agency. This will help keep them informed of what's going on in Hampton Roads - They want to know and they are good at what they do if you inform them!"
